Symptoms: Low-Grade Fever, Chills, Pain in the Pelvic Area, Pressure in the Testicles, Painful and Swollen Scrotum, Pain and Tenderness in the Testicles, Enlarged Lymph Nodes in the Groin, Pain with Urination or Bowel Movements, Urgency and Frequency in Micturition, Pain while Intercourse and Ejaculation, Discharge, Blood in the Semen.

Definition:

Epididymitis is a medical condition characterized by discomfort or pain of the epididymis, a curved structure at the back of the testicles in which sperm mature and is stored. 

It is most common in men aged 19-35 years of age and is a frequent cause of hospitalizations. Epididymitis is caused by an infection, usually a bacterial or a sexually transmitted infection.
