Seeds for Diversity and Inclusion: Agroecology and Endogenous Development
Publication Year: 2022
Author(s): Nishikawa Y, Pimbert M
Abstract:
The authors contend that the growing oligopoly in the current seed system hampers our capacity to critically examine and recognize the various methods by which seed governance is implemented globally, across different levels, resulting in a diverse and interconnected network of complementary and autonomous practices. The authors emphasize the significance of engaging in this essential discussion by examining case studies of seed governance systems and practices observed in Japan and its surrounding areas.
