Publication Year: 2023

Author(s): World Economic Forum

Abstract:

The biodiversity credits market is still at a very early stage, but it provides a compelling instrument to finance positive outcomes for nature. With effective progress on governance, global demand for voluntary biodiversity credits could reach $2 billion in 2030 and $69 billion by 2050.
