Abstract:
Available natural resources such as land, forests and water have continuously been degrading globally. There picture at regional level too is dim. Yet indigenous farming practices including, crop, seed production and management had always motivated the agriculturists to develop an improved agriculturally fit technology. This becomes needier in hilly areas. Therefore, the resource conservation is of major importance for hilly and a rainfed areas as it restores 'farm moisture' after recycling weed as green manure.
