Abstract:
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Traditional Knowledge Documentation Toolkit project, originally developed under the auspices of the WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), aims to assist holders of traditional knowledge (TK), in particular, indigenous peoples and local communities, in identifying and defending their intellectual property (IP) related interests when their TK is documented or otherwise recorded.
