Abstract:

This book explores various topics including indigenous territory, the ideas of political autonomy and sovereignty that have been employed to define and establish indigenous political initiatives. Comparison of Western educational concepts with indigenous nations' educational practices. The prevailing Western historical perspective on the interaction with indigenous communities and the suitability of the legal concept of "belief" to accurately represent Aboriginal religious practices.
