History Of The Technique | The Traditional Knowledge Holder is specialized in Traditional farming; no chemical fertilizer or pesticide is being used in the farming practices since he strongly believes that the chemical has an adverse effect on the environment and the surrounding including him-self. He informed Lemon was the first fruit he planted in his farm. |
Manufacturing technique | According to the traditional knowledge holder no pesticide or any form of chemical is used for cultivating the crops in his farm. He adopts purely organic method. |
Method of Preparation | Natural pesticide used by the TKH: The leaf of Nicotiana tobacum is first fermented with water for the one night and in the, morning the water is taken and spray on the infected plants, this method has found to be working in his farm. But there are cases where the insect has infected deep into the stem of the plants and in such cases usually the water from the fermented Nicotiana tobacum is pour into the hole made by the insect. Manure: Pig manure is used as natural fertilizer which he gets from his piggery farm. |
