This study discussed about Sericulture and weaving as part of the cultural heritage of the Northeastern region and is one of the most promising income sources to this region without spending much for its cultivation.

The study revealed that the documented medicinal plants have potential curative properties with immense market value.

In the present study, an attempt was made to inventorise the traditional rice varieties cultivated in a village in Barak Valley, North east India. A total of 18 rice landraces were collected from the study site retained by the farmers because of their dietary, cultural and social value.

A survey was conducted for documenting indigenous knowledge used by rural women for animal healthcare in and around Dantiwada taluka of Banaskantha district, Gujarat.

In this study, physicochemical characteristics and nutritional properties of different parts of the fruit and development of value added products – R. chinensis tablet and R. chinensis candy and their storability were evaluated.

The paper deals with 46 species of plants, covering 44 genera and 31 families used for curing tooth ailments by the tribes of Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh. Fabaceae is the dominant family with 5 species followed by Myrtaceae and Solanaceae (each 3 species) and others.
